Koons Pool Party Request Form

Private Party contracts must be signed by the authorized adult taking full and financial responsibility for the Private Party.

Private Parties must be:

1. Scheduled with Erica Baylor two (2) weeks in advance of the date.

2. Booked based on the party’s best count of estimated attendees.

3. Paid in full before event including lifeguard fees.

Private Parties are scheduled on Friday nights from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM The pool will be closed to the public during that time.

Private Party- Fee is $300.00 ($50.00 deposit and this contract must be received by Erica Baylor one (1) week prior to the party). In addition to the $300.00 fee, you will receive an incremental charge for lifeguards at the rate of $20.00 per hour per lifeguard. Two (2) lifeguards are required for groups up to 30 people. Additional lifeguard fees apply for groups larger than 30 people. Please contact Erica Baylor to pre-determine the number of extra lifeguards required.

Cancellation Policy

The $50.00 deposit will be returned to you if you cancel more than 48 hours prior to the event. If you cancel in less than 48 hours prior to the event, you are not entitled to a refund of the $50.00 deposit. In the unlikely event of bad weather and the pool being closed on the scheduled day of your party, a full refund will be paid to the person whose signature appears on the contract. Once your party has begun, no refund will be given.

Pool Rules for Parties

1. Drugs and alcohol are strictly forbidden on pool property. Parties that violate this rule are subject to being can- celed without refund.

2. Parties at Koons Pool are required to only include people of a well defined group. Such as church groups, ser- vice clubs, birthday parties, etc. Selling tickets or other forms of commercialization are strictly prohibited.

3. Proper swim attire must be worn at all times while in the pool. Underwear and street clothes are not allowed.

4. No diving anywhere other than the diving well area.

5. No stunts are permitted from the poolside. This includes flips and back dives and anything else the staff deems dangerous.

6. The following are not permitted on the pool property; alcoholic beverages, drugs, glass containers, guns, knives, and other weapons and/or anything else pool staff deems dangerous.

7. Swimmers with open sores, contagious skin disorders or illness or any possible contagious diseases may be banned from use of the pools and facilities for safety purposes.

8. All persons are charged with the responsibility of keeping the premises clean. All refuse must be placed in trash containers provided. Those not adhering to this code may be asked to leave the pool property.

9. Any damage to the club property will be charged to the offenders.

10. The pool staff is not responsible for the loss/damage of personal property.

11. Accidents must be reported to the staff immediately. A first aid kit is on the premises and personnel trained in first aid are available.

12. Swimming is strictly prohibited when no lifeguard is on duty.

13. The baby/wading pool will not be under immediate supervision of the lifeguards; therefore, parents are re- sponsible for their children and/or guests.

14. No children over the age of 5 years old allowed in the baby/wading pool.

15. Ropes and buoys on the pool are safety devices only; therefore, they should not be touched except in the case of emergency.

16. No person shall engage in indecent or otherwise offensive conduct. Use of profane or vulgar language is prohibited in the pool area.

17. No running, pushing, chicken fights, or other forms of horseplay are permitted.

Submission of this form signifies that people applying for a party are required to read the Pool Rules and will be required sign that they will be responsible for their group following the rules.
